The Gambia has dropped one place in the monthly Coco-Cola Ranking to sit 143 in September.
This was released early this morning by the World Football governing body FIFA. In August The Gambia was ranked 142. Gambia’s average ranking has been 131 at world stage.
In Africa The Gambia is ranked 43rd while Cameroon is ranked 7th, a place lower than their last month ranking.
This piece of news came 72hours before The Scorpions take on the indomitable lions of Cameroon at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
Gambia’s opponent in Sunday encounter, Cameroon are ranked 42 position, maintaining their position in the August rankings.
