The Gambia national U-20 team (Baby Scorpions) have been drawn against Sierra Leone in the preliminary round of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, Zambia 2017.
The first leg is scheduled for 1, 2 or 3 April 2016, before the second leg on 22, 23 or 24 of the same month.
The draw for the qualifying series meant for players under the age of 20 years, was conducted by CAF on Friday 5 February in Kigali (Rwanda) on the sidelines of CHAN 2016.
The winner of the two legged tie face Morocco who had a bye to the second and final round of qualifying which will be played from 20, 21 or 22 May and the return leg to played 10, 11, or June 12, 2016).
